How is the Human Design Bodygraph Calculated?

SHADOW SHORT: how is the human design bodygraph calculated

okkkkk so from my research (because most of this is so technical and quite frankly boring for me) ... here is what I found:

Your birthday and time is essentially your natal chart (astrology) converted into Human Design. ((so if you really want to learn about the foundational calculations... that may be an astrology question that I cannot answer)

Astrology math ➡️ Human Design math

Ephemeris data (Astrology) to Gates (Human Design) THIS IS PERSONALITY
MINUS 88 degrees (or days) will give you DESIGN

So much math, I know.

We have the mandala which essentially does not change (based on Western/Tropical system). The planets move around the sun, right? So depending on where the planets were when you were born, certain portions of the mandala are going to be "lit up" or activated and these correlate to gates. The sun changes gates about every 6 days. However, some other planets like Pluto and Saturn move way slower. So you may see that people with the same birth year as you, share the same Pluto.

Now I am no mathematician or programmer but this math seems to math for me. But I do have a wrench to threw into the mix if you are interested in diving a bit deeper into this rabbit hole. ⤵️
